Our processing plant is located in the north-western area of the Pichincha Province (Quito-Ecuador). Our facilities are optimums and fundamental for the production of hearts of palm. We have given special importance to a number of aspects: technology, labor force, raw material and food safety.

The associated farmers of TropicalFoods produce hearts of palm for more than 12 years in their farms with the support of experienced and qualified staff. They cultivate carefully the best fertilization on the soil which also receives the benefit from the climate and natural conditions of the north-western area of the Pichincha Province, especially the luminosity and plentiful presence of water.
We cultivate palm heart in our own farms under a progressive program for organic growth. And we are sure we can reach an optimum product for you.
Our agricultural practices on farms are friendly to the environment, through sustainable agriculture and organic semi-plantations.
Our plantations spread over 1,200 Ha ensure our quality and continuous supply of raw materials, during the whole year.
The hearts of palm is an exotic product recognized by international markets. It is low fat and has high nutritionist value, it’s a tasty vegetal of easy digestion.
Very similar to a potatoe thanks to its versatility. It is a tubercule full of starch and flavor that gives a creamy texture or a crunchy touch to your recepies . There are plenty of culinary delights for Cassava. You can fry it, cook it in an oven or grill it. And also, you can use it for desserts and puree. Try it!
